Jermale Jones (ex Swiss Central) is a newcomer at Al Kweldeeh

Al Kweldeeh (Division 1) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 37-year old American 185cm guard Jermale Jones (college: Tuskegee). He was the top scorer at Swiss Central in Swiss NLB league last season where in 29 games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.6ppg, 4.6rpg, 3.0apg and 2.4spg (in top 4). A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Swiss NLB Second Team.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America) in six different countries. Jones has played previously professionally in Germany (Lich Basketball and SSV Lok Bernau), Iraq (Nift Al-Shamal), Luxembourg (Black Star), Romania (Politehnica Iasi) and Libya (Al Morog).
He played in the final of Swiss NLB in 2021.
It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Al Kweldeeh.
Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him to get the job in pro basketball.
Jones graduated from Tuskegee University in 2009 and it will be his 16th (!!!) season in pro basketball. He played also for Lawson State Community College for 2 years.
The scouts decsribe him following way: Outstanding perimeter shooter with nice athletic skills. Great Defender. Passes the ball very well. Has high level experience in college in the SIAC. Jones is a scoring machine that can shoot and score bunches very quickly. He was a total team player who could hit the deep ball but pass as well.
